The VP / CP Free Flow Pump has been developed to pump liquids that contains:
- Very long fibers;
- Very large solid components;
- Very abrasive liquids.
This pump is available in two versions:
- The VP that can handle maximum particle sizes up to 60 mm, but has a good efficiency.
- The CP which can handle maximum particle sizes up to 60 mm but has a poorer efficiency.
Key features:
Flow rates up to: 1.500 m³/hr
Heads up to: 75 m
Casing pressure up to: 16 Bar
Temperature: -20ºC to +120ºC
According to: Process design
Material:
The following materials can be used: Cast iron (GG20), duplex (1.4460), superduplex (1.4517) and superduplex hardened (1.4517 hard).
Impeller:
The pump is equipped with a vortex impeller (free flow impeller). The number of blades depends on the pump size and the desired version (VP or CP).
Shaft Seal:
The pump shaft seal is made with a single mechanical seal following DIN24960 or double mechanical seal (tandem arrangement). The composition of materials are able to put together by customer specifications. A cartridge seal is also possible.
Motor:
Standard B3 IEC engine can be supplied from any brand. ATEX engines are also possible.
Application:
These pumps can be found in different processes. Where liquids with solid constituents should be pumped.
