Grundfos
COMFORT pumps are specifically designed for tap water systems for household use
in single and two-family homes.
The pumps
are equipped with spherical motors. In contrast to the conventional
"canned rotor" motors, a spherical motor is not provided with a
rotating bearing shaft. The stator transfers the magnetic field to the rotor in
the water-transporting part of the pump. The pump is only suitable for tap
water systems under pressure.
The
water-transporting part of the pump is hermetically separated from the stator
by means of a stainless steel spherical separator.
Applications
The
Grundfos COMFORT pumps are specifically designed for DHW circulation systems for
domestic use.
