TP-series
Grundfos TP
and TPE vertical inline pumps are used for various applications. The pumps are
all single-stage inline centrifugal pumps with standard motor and mechanical
shaft seals. The pumps are of the type directly flanged. The pumps are
therefore less sensitive to contamination in the pumped liquid than comparable
pumps with half-wet pumps. The TP and TPE range is partly available as a double
pump: the TPD and TPED series.
Two
different models of vertical inline pumps are available. Specific product
variants are available within these two models. Detailed information about

TP pump
This pump
is known for its high degree of reliability and efficiency. Low-noise, highly
efficient IE3 motors are up to and including 90 kW standard components and from
90 kW optional. All TP pumps are electrophoresis coated to ensure high
corrosion resistance.
TPE pump
The most
important difference between TP and TPE pumps is the motor. TPE motors are
equipped with a built-in frequency converter, so that different control methods
can be used. TPE pumps offer advantages with regard to energy saving and
increased comfort. The TPE Series 2000 is delivered including a built-in
differential pressure sensor. The TPE pumps are now available with the
extremely efficient IE5 motors.

Features and benefits
- The
impeller is hydraulically and mechanically balanced to increase the service
life of the motor bearings and shaft seals (Series 300 and 400)
- Pump
housing and pump head / motor seat are electrophoretically coated for improved
corrosion resistance
- TPE
pumps can be expanded with modules for communication with LONWorks, Profibus
DP, Modbus RTU, GSM / GPRS / SMS and BACnet MS / TP, among others.
