This type of turbine is an electric power generation technology that works through hydraulic potential available in dams, pipelines, spillways, waterfalls and other sources of accumulated water energy. The Amphibious Turbine is a fully integrated piece of technology. It includes an electric generator and a turbine.
The electric generator is a submerged type. The pumped fluid goes alongside the motor and guarantees excellent thermal exchange and high performance efficiency. The turbine is designed according to the application operating condition using CFD (Computional Fluid Dynamics) software. This is software to optimize the geometry and high performance reach.
