Pump description
The Delta RD range of
totally submersible pumps has been designed for sewage, waste water and
industrial water. These pumps are highly reliable in pumping water
containing solids and fibres. Quality is the key-feature when this pump
was designed.
Key features:
All the pumps are executed with cutting devices in the front and back
impeller, so that solids will not block the suction or damage the seal.
Material design
Various materials can be supplied from cast iron, bronze to high chrome
steel and even rubberised materials.
Impeller design
Closed, multi vane, impeller designed to maximize efficiency and low flow
pulsation.
Vortex impeller, for pumping the toughest fluids.
Semi-vortex impeller, for pumping though fluids with a better efficiency
then a vortex impeller.
Sealing design
The smaller unit have a V-ring and a mechanical seal with oil chamber. The
larger units have double mechanical seals with an oil chamber. The
oil-chamber between the seals provides a buffer against the surrounding
medium, and it is fitted with a leakage monitor to warn against water
penetration. The motor is also fitted with temperature monitors and a
leakage probe for the stator housing.
Motor design
Standard version has there own developed high efficiency motors. Upon request the pump can be executed
with an other make motor and/or an ATEX certified motor.
