Andritz FP Double Suction Pump
Pump description:
The FP pump, FPS for lower capacity, is a double suction pump. The double inflow impeller is placed between two lower seats. With this pump type, the axial force is almost zero, so the lower seats only have to catch the radial forces. This construction allows you to expect very long stand times. This in combination with a very high efficiency, even higher than 90%.

Casing pressure up to: 16 Bar
Temperature: -20ºC tot +140ºC
Efficiency: Maximum 92,2%
Material:
The pump is available in cast iron (GG20 - A48-900), 1.4408 (AISI316) and in Duplex (1.4460). The impeller and seal rings are standard in AISI316.
Impeller:
Closed double inflow (two closed fan back-to-back), designed for maximum efficiency and low pulsation.
Shaft seal:
The pump shaft seal is made with ash seal or double mechanical seal (tandem arrangement). The composition of materials are able to put together by customer specifications.
Motor:
Standard B3 IEC engine can be supplied from any brand. ATEX engines are also possible.
Application:
The FP double suction pumps are used where there is a high capacity need to be pumped 24/7.
Some examples of this are:
- Cooling water pumps for industry / energy generation;
- Dust pumps for the paper industry;
- Drinking water transport pumps.
